Airplane Hunter
Any questions about the proper use.
My little son pointed out that Ernest Gann, an American author uses the term "air" ( "Fate is the Hunter") instead of "air" to describe travel by plane. Historically Gann 'insists on uncompromising literary standards, "the phrase could be dismissed as poetic license. Which sentence is correct? I brought the matter to the attention of Mr. Graham clarification: he used his own words, answers "damn stupid questions" Yet he has not deigned reply.
I feel the air is a medium and any object can pass "through" and not by it.So, the author is correct. We Travel "air" so that your breakfast is correct. So son, both are correct in their own words.
