R-Reg Ford Mondeo Instrument Panel does not mean the picture?
Hello, Thank you in advance for reading this. I have a 1998 R reg Ford Mondeo. I do not have an owner's manual and need to find out what each icon on the dash / cluster is thingy. Can you describe each icon / Image and tell me what the warning indicator to alert me? (there is one key / key, crystal ice circle with an exclamation point, etc ...) Please please please ... help. Many thanks, JPT
The upper part of the cluster has a warning scheme vehicle displays and what doors are open and also light small symbols that inform when a front or rear bulb has blown. Basically, there are six symbols which are from top left ... 1. Sysbol radiator with cooling fan Blades = Low Level 2. Snowflake (Amber) = Frost Warning - Ambient Temp between 4 and 1 * C; 3. Snowflake (Red) = 0 * Note C and ice below 4. Washer Bottle with Spray symbol = means that the bottle washer is at most one quarter Complete, 5. Spanner symbol = Lights if a service is due (usually every 10,000 MLS on the Mondeo) The reset switch during this warning light is immediately to its right and is usually reset by the technician servicing Ford cars. 6. Circle with Exclamation Mark = Break pad wear indicator warning. (Retail Snowshoes are equipped with a wear sensor that illuminates the icon when the pads reach a minimum safe thickness .... Hope this helps Ev
