Abstract painting?
I'm out of school during the summer, and I'll start to really concentrate on my art. What I usually do is a lot of mixing black and white drawings of flowers or people, and sometimes landscapes. I really want to go in abstract art, what are the main things to know about this? What should I do to begin? What do you think I should concentrate on when I started painting? Thank you so much! Please respond if you are an artist and painting have been for some time, I would detailed responses. Thank you again! Oh, also, that the paintings are the best? Which company? And also what brushes?
You can try take your designs and modify them in a very subtle at first. Take a picture you drew a flower and cut it up and rearrange in order apparently random. Collage is economical and teaches a lot about the composition of abstract forms and how to work together in an image. You may start "see" more abstract, if you start with familiar objects. supplies will depend on what you want. Acrylic or oil? Multi-media? Find art?
