Has heard of a "Lincoln Ruby 15" 17 jewel pocket watch Swiss?

The watch is gold or gold toned. On the forehead directly as "12" it says "Lincoln with a line below and Ruby 15" under it. It does not cover. On the back it says: " SEVENTEEN17 jewel "and" Swiss ".

Other marks on the dial, where, within the species, or movement? No mention of "Shock", "Stoss" or "Incabloc? Especially the marks on the motion to indicate the class (type of movement) and perhaps the author of the movement. Normally, "Ruby" is the same as "jewels", but here we have 17 jewels, but only 15 ruby. Weird. You see, most watches pocket watches, watches even the highest quality of rail, made before the mid 1890 had a maximum of 15 jewels. "During Jeweling" watch has been designed to make the shows less hilly so it was considered particularly by the Swiss jeweling the wheel center to put the watch up from 15 jewels and 17 jewels was not necessary. Many of them were "Assembly" rather than manufacturers, putting together the hits of outsourced parts. This is not a bad thing, because often they used good movement of major manufacturers such as ETA, A. Schild, Police, Lanco, etc. Thus it is often more useful to see a pic of the movement in these watches. At least the manufacturer movement and size May be verified. It is often very low or no information available on small businesses shows themselves.
