Ladies Pocket Watch
I caught a pick pocket and was arrested?
I just Gotton back one day in London. I near the metro and there was a crowd watching a street magician, so I went to take a look. I saw a man aged about 20 unzip a backpack ladys and take her purse. I grabbed his other arm and put it behind her back and told him to give back here, she turned around and had to come back and thanked me. The young man then struggled violently and eventually I think breaking his arm. The police arrived and was arrested for assault, with the man for theft. Even if the woman and several people have argued my case, I was taken to a cop shop e held for 7 hours. I'm from Hull and now the case was transferred to Hull and I have to appear before a magistrate next week, I was charged with assault and battery, or something similar. Anyone think this is right, should I just had a blind eye.
How unfair. It was his fault his arm was broken as a result of his wrongdoing. It reminds me of the saying, "No Good Deed goes unpunished." You did the right thing and I hope that you are allowed at the hearing. Do people who were there as witnesses to appear you? Please let us know what happens.
