Imagine that United States was invaded and overran by a foreign, non-Christian army. Perhaps China. We're now an occupied country. We have elections, but we all know it's a sham. If the Chinese don't like who we elect, they'll be replaced. Our Congress can't do anything that doesn't first benefit China.
We have a great amount of natural resources here. But, the wealth extracted from our lands doesn't go into our pockets, it goes to wealth Chinese and Chinese corporations.
The Chinese soldiers actively try to convert the population to Taosim, or Buddhism, or whatever. They are openly derisive of Christianity and our religious traditions. Chinese religious leaders at home joke about burning the Bible and the need to ultimately eradicate and destroy Christianity.
Given this situation, would you have much compunction about taking up arms and trying to kill as many Chinese soldiers as possible?
Hell yeah. Insurgents can also be called partisans depending on how they are viewed. Partisan activity always flares up when a country invades another one and destroys their official military. It's a pattern that repeats itself over and over in history.
Unfortunately, America has no Einsatzgruppen commandos to perform ruthless actions against the civilian population. Even if it did, I don't know if it would change anything because of the nature of Islam.
