No. Please do not use glasses or other eyewear normal if you for watching a solar eclipse. There are mylar film used to view eclipses. The most economical method is to use-Ray Film X (dark areas). Ideally, fold the paper in half and sinks through the eclipse would give a clear sun. yes, it works. Be sure to look only at the X-ray film.
