Tuesday, September 13th, 2011Teen styles? A bit of help from the "fashion forward people"?
Ok so I write my own series of books; the characters include:
1. Jerry: a stressed out 27 year old taking care of the people coming up below... He is very far from getting a girlfriend so... I'm thinking a blue and white striped polo, a relaxed pair of jeans... (shoes????)
2. Tommy: A very rebellious 14 year old boy, very mischievous kid, always out for the girl. My idea of an outfit for him: A red shirt, black hoodie, black jeans (with a chain in a pocket), black and white converse.
3. Jenna: Not at all rebellious, a teacher's pet, very sweet 11 year old. No specific copyrighted material (hello kitty, hannah montana, so on)
4. Jenny: Very rebellious 13 year old girl, usually up to beat on the trends. Very flirty at times...
So if someone can help me with wardrobe specifically outfits? Incluing shoes? I am lost here. Fashion is not my category.
Ok does this help any? They are all like light hair color... maybe a brownish blond?
Jerry ; plain shirts - polos - canvas pants - running shoes - classic leather shoes
Tommy ; fitted shirts with designs on them, (maybe something similar to Hollister, or Volcom/Hurley?) - Skinny jeans - plaid shorts - skateboarding shoes
Jenna ; glasses? 
-blouses - bermuda shorts ? - flip flops
Jenny ; make her an "indie" kid ? - big hair teased hair ? - american apparel shirt - skinny jeans - converse
