Monday, June 6th, 2011When I wear my necklace I get small red dots and itchy?
I have a coin on a chain necklace that I wear that used a stainless steel chain. Unfortunately after about a week my neck started getting irritated and itchy. Little red dots appeared where the chain was. We decided that the steel was the cause and so got a silver chain instead. Now, I feel like the same thing is happening. Why is this happening? I thought that it might be related to sleeping with it on since after I took a nap with it on it felt more irritated than normal. That might not be the case though. Can anyone help me?

I have the same problem.
The doctor told me I have allergy all over, due to very much having sugars in my food, so as the skin was allergic, which meant sensitive, it gave me such reactions.
You could be having allergy from overusing other foods, as a few people have it from beef or chicken, or bananas, or simply some dust or grease on the chain itself.
I remember my friend was forced to have 3 bananas a day, and such allergies began to appear on his neck.
Carefully wash your chain with soap and warm water, then dry it with a clean towel or paper towel, every other day, that could help.
