Why does my white gold fish turning black?
I bought two gold fish, one black with big eyes and a white low. The black gold fish died on the weekend i do not know why. But I was changing the water a lot because it is cloudy white two days after I change it. I have been feeding them properly and any time i change the water i put a cleaning tablet in water clense before I put the fish back in. After my black gold fish my fish is dead white gold starts to blacken on different parts of his body. I do not want it die, it swims around opening and closing its mouth looks much faster than normal, I put a little food but he didn't eat. Is there something I can do? I also pump air into the fishbowl, and it pumps remove air bubbles. i dont know if it cleans the water or not.
Oh where to begin. Firstly, you say you've been changing the water "lots", but you do not mention what you fish in, so I'm going to guess that you have in a certain type of fish bowl without any filtration or even a Airstone. Let me start now by saying that goldfish are nicknamed "Pigfish. This should give you your relevancy score. Goldfish are in bowls, no matter how water changes much you do, will die much sooner, and those held in terms of quality (or a good tank size with packaged water and filter at least.) Goldfish produce a lot of garbage and waste in the "still" Aquarium turns to ammonia, which suffocates the fish to death. The "black" on your white fish could actually be ammonia burn (I'm sorry but it's true). I search online you can do to treat heartburn ammonia on fish. Chances are that employees Petshop "neglected" to tell you that. It is normal that they do not. Rather then me getting in to it here in the end, I'll give you some links to check Goldfish care. I do not know what the result on your goldfish will be. If you decide to try this again in the future I suggest you thoroughly research all the above to obtain fish. If you just want a couple of fish, you can start with one gallon 10 perhaps 20 gallons starter kit. The more knowledgeable you are about this hobby, the better your fish will be. And in turn, the happier you Upgrade. If you get a tank and filter, be sure to research "cycling" your tank the right way before adding the fish, and also check the different breeds of goldfish as some can get HUGE and are better left for outdoor pools.
